This handwoven placemat is made with love by artisans from Cebu, Philippines. The handwoven textile makes use of Abaca, a banana plant endemic to the Philippines that is grown in a sustainable way. The textile is inspired by geometric shapes and textures seen in a variety of plants such as gradient succulents, dried leaves and tree barks.
