Description

This handwoven placemat is made with love by artisans from Cebu, Philippines. The handwoven textile is made of Abaca, a banana plant endemic to the Philippines that is grown in a sustainable way. The textiles are inspired by the petals of tropical flowers.

MATERIALS: 
oeko-tex certified 60% linen 40% cotton yarn
100% abaca paper yarn 

Being inspired by nature and honouring nature is at the centre of what we do. And that's why we were very intentional about choosing certified non-toxic natural materials for these placemats.

The 60% linen 40% cotton yarn used for the warp of the handwoven textile is oeko-tex certified, meaning that there are no harmful chemicals in the finished product. While, the 100% Abaca paper yarn used for the weft of the handwoven textile is certified compostable, meaning that there are no harmful chemicals present in the finished product. This means that this product's textile can safely return to the earth at the end of its life.

Hand wash in cool water
Hang dry only 
Do not tumble dry 
Iron on high heat
