Description

  • The Kalinga are one of the sub-tribes in the Cordillera. They are known as extensive rice farmers and terraces builders. They are also skilled artisans in loom weaving, basketry, and metal smithing.
  • Kalinga men wear a g-string called the “bahag.” They also wear feathers as head dress to add glamour. Sometimes they also wear a vest or blanket to keep them warm from cold weather.
