Description

The axolotl (ACK-suh-LAH-tuhl) is the Peter Pan of salamanders. While most amphibians grow out of their aquatic phase to begin their lives on land, the axolotl largely retains its larval characteristics and spends its adult life in the water. It does, however, get bigger—up to a foot long! This handknit version is a huggable 16 inches long!  Do remember, that each hand knit item is unique and sizes may vary slightly.  Each piece is handknit with love by a mama who also plants in the rice terraces in Ifugao!
