Description

A wooden box with 7 removable lids and 5 shapes: soft ball, cylinder, cube, rectangular and triangular prisms. The shape is retrieved from the drawer at the front. 

 

Starting with posting one shape, this sorter can be used by babies around 12 months of age. 

 

Once the child has mastered each single shape, they can try posting with the 2-hole lid, then 3 holes, and do the 4-hole lid when they are ready.

 

The lids can also be used as stencils.

 

This shape sorter allows your child to strengthen their hand-eye coordination, fine motor and problem-solving skills, as well as develop their vocabulary knowledge (i.e. being able to identify and name shapes).
