○ All beaded bags are locally hand made by PDLs (Person Deprived of Liberty) from Correctional Institution for Women 


Most PDLs (Person Deprived of Liberty) don't have their own means to earn money and mostly rely on their family for allowances to buy their basic needs. This leaves them with little to no money to buy other stuff like snacks, toiletries / personal hygiene, and personal things (slippers, under garments, shirt, etc.).

Sandy Beads was created to help inmates share their talent and skill through the Beaded Products. This helps them sustain their daily expenses so that they don't have to rely on their family.
